Lucca 07 September 2022 – A long-awaited 2nd edition of the Salon of Building: a showcase of innovative building materials and design solutions for the world of construction and architecture, opens at Lucca’s Polo Fairgrounds September 23-25, 2022. Admission is free.
After the great success of the first edition in 2020, three days this year will be dedicated to energy efficiency, home automation and safety, while also offering important aesthetic and qualitative solutions to improve the comfort of business and private living spaces. The focus will be on new furnishings, including new finishes, floors, coverings, fixtures, and accessories, for both interiors and exteriors.
SdE aims to promote the interaction of design professionals and construction companies with public and private customers interested in discovering all the most innovative solutions to make their dreams of change a reality.
The goal of the event is twofold: on the one hand to increase awareness of the enormous advantages of investing in one’s own building stock, and on the other hand to offer an opportunity at a regional level for individual professionals and companies to interact with one another and clients in the sector.
New events include a demonstration of the capabilities of women engineers, and a Garden Show that will include green spaces extending into the Polo’s parking lot to showcase the ample garden materials produced by participating companies.
Presenting the initiative based on their firm belief in the resilience of this important sector of the national economy were: the Assessor for Commerce of the Municipality of Lucca, Paola Granucci; Alessandro Sanesi of Exposervice, the company that organizes the event; Maria Novella Dogliotti, director of Lucca Crea; Cristina Martelli for the general secretary of the Northwest Tuscany Chamber of Commerce; and Piero Mazzei of Confedilizia, province of Lucca.
The Polo Fiere (Convention Center) of Lucca is easily reachable from the Lucca East exit of A11 and by public transport.
