Today, Lucca Comics & Games 2026 (LC&G26) announced the lineup of artists and gaming platforms attending this year’s event in Lucca to celebrate its “Legacy of Community since 1966”.

The event runs from October 28th to November 1st in the suggestive walled city of Lucca, where it was founded.

• Important for those planning to attend: thanks to a promotion on Italo trains, the journey from Florence to Lucca will cost just one euro for a train or bus ticket.
• Starting today, participants also will be able to purchase LC&G26 tickets at a reduced price that will be locked in until July 24, 2026, according to Emanuele Vietina, Director of Lucca Comics & Games.

The poster promoting LC&G26, was designed by famed Italian illustrator Claudio Castellani, and celebrates the Legacy of the event which turns 60 this year. Explained as a collage of historically significant comics characters, it shows them supporting above them a pretty young girl holding a pencil up in the air as if it were a flag. Organizers wished to emphasize with this Legacy theme, how much the festival owes to those who have contributed hard work and inspiration to making it a growing success.
