If you have never had a fresh almond cookie from the Pasticceria Dianda, you have missed out. They are not sugary, but are instead light pillows that melt in your mouth – except for the blanched almond or orange peel or cherry that might adorn them. They pair beautifully with an afternoon espresso or cappuccino. The pasticceria now has two locations so you can visit one in the morning and the other in the afternoon so you don’t appear addicted (though you will be!)
